I've been trading football matches for a little over a year now. There was one moment when I looked up from my phone, turned to Rohan, and said:

We need to fucking build Kickr.

This was back in February, at the Salt Lake City airport. Rohan and I had just landed from New York, on our way to MntnDAO, and were waiting for our coffees at Starbucks.

Meanwhile, PSG were playing Monaco. It was 2–2 at halftime, and I was trying to hammer PSG to win.

I checked the scores, studied the stats, and opened Polymarket. But by the time I'd made sense of the game and loaded the odds, the second half had kicked off. Monaco got a red card.

The price moved. My opportunity was gone.

I wanted to build something that moved at the pace of football.

SofaScore for the match, ChatGPT and tip sites for research, Polymarket for the trade. All these tools, all these tabs, just to make one decision. And the game wasn't waiting for me.

Why wasn't there one place that brought it all together?

So we started building Kickr. One place for the scores, stats, research, markets, and your positions.

But something interesting happened as we started using it ourselves.

Some of my best trade ideas weren't coming from more research. They were coming from other traders.

Someone would share a position in our Telegram group. Someone else would question it or point out something we'd missed. We'd bounce ideas around, discover opportunities, and sometimes take the same trade.

That became one of my favourite parts of trading football.

We realised we didn't just want to build a better trading experience. We wanted to bring football trading into multiplayer mode.

Today, our ambition is to make Kickr the premier place to trade football.

Kickr's intelligence and stats give you one view of the match. The traders around you give you another.

You might discover a trade you hadn't considered, find someone who challenges your thinking, or spot an opportunity others have missed.

You take those perspectives, make sense of them, and make your own call.

That's the kind of place Rohan and I want to build.

We've got a long way to go. But Kickr has already become something I wouldn't want to trade without.
